Rose Hardy Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

ADRIAN – Rose Marie Hardy, age 25, of Clayton, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010. Rose was born August 18, 1985, in Tawas, Michigan, the daughter of William and Charlotte (Naismyth) Hardy. Rosie attended classes at the Hope Center. She loved people and enjoyed visiting nursing homes with her class; participating in the Relay for Life, and volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Rosie was involved with 4-H, showing ducks, and also Special Olympics where she competed in track events. Rosie enjoyed camping, swimming and biking. She was a free spirit who will be greatly missed by her family including parents, William and Charlotte Hardy of Clayton; siblings, Thomas (Ruthie) Hardy of Manitou Beach; Rebecca (Kevin) Peck of Tecumseh; and Kevin Hardy of Clayton; maternal grandfather, James Naismyth of Adrian; and several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Also surviving is her best friend and cousin, Samantha Perkins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Myrna Naismyth and paternal grandparents, Vernon and Ellen Hardy. Rosie’s legacy of love will live on in others as a result of her being a donor for The Gift of Life. A memorial service honoring Rosie’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Wagley Funeral Home with Amy and Earl Gilhouse officiating. Burial of ashes will take place on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw.
