Patricia Iffland

BLISSFIELD—Patricia I. Iffland , 65, of Blissfield, passed away June 10, 2011, at her home. She was born April 10, 1946, in Detroit, MI., the daughter of Anna (LeRow) and Patrick McMahon, Jr. Patricia was united in marriage to Kenneth E. Iffland on April 18, 1964 in Blissfield, Michigan. Kenneth preceded her in death on November 10, 2000. Pat was a 1964 graduate of Deerfield High School in Deerfield, Michigan. She was employed at the Blissfield Family Dollar as store manager for many years and later worked at Homerun Pizza and Subs in Blissfield. Pat was also a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Blissfield. She had many favorite pastimes including, camping with her family at various places, playing Bunco, playing cards and especially spending time with her precious grandchildren. Surviving are her 4 sons, Jeffrey Iffland of Hawaii, Mark (Trisa) Iffland of Palmyra, Michael (Jo Nell) Iffland of Blissfield and Kenneth (Amanda) Iffland, Jr. of Blissfield; her father, Patrick Joseph McMahon of Toledo; 7 siblings, James (Bonnie) McMahon of Texas, Dan (Cyndi) McMahon of Blissfield, Jean (Bill) Goodrow of Tecumseh, Cathie (Joe) Sayler of Blissfield, Marcy (John) Tucker of Colorado, Kim (Don) Raper of Adrian and Patrick Joseph McMahon III of Riga, MI; 6 grandchildren, Patrick and Courtney Iffland, Michael Iffland, Jr., Mattea and Preston Iffland , Blake Iffland and another one on the way and 2 step-grandchildren, Stephanie and Kirkland Bates. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she was preceded in death by her mother and step-mother, Arlene Brubaker McMahon. Funeral services for Patricia will be held at 11 am on Monday, June 13, 2011 at Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel with Rev. Aden Porter officiating. Burial will follow the service at Pleasant View Cemetery, Blissfield. Visitation for Pat, will be held on Sunday, June 12, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. at the Tagsold Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Pat may be made to the Hospice of Lenawee. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
