Lee Etta Knoblauch

BLISSFIELD- Lee Etta Knoblauch, 91, of Blissfield, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at the Hospice of Lenawee Home. She was born on August 24, 1930 in Kenton, Ohio, one of three daughters to Henry and Gladys (Conley) Howard. On March 19, 1949 Lee Etta married Harlan Knoblauch and they celebrated 58 years together before his death on May 26, 2007. Lee Etta’s faith and love for the Lord showed through her kindness and love for others and her family. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lee Etta found great pleasure in baking and cooking for her family. One of her favorites was cut out cookies that she would make for all occasions; and she always made enough for the grand kids to take some cookies home. She treasured the time she was able to spend with her family. Lee Etta enjoyed dancing, playing cards, traveling, and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Lee Etta and Harlan enjoyed 27 winters in Florida. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Dave ) Knapp of Addison, LoAnn (David) Smith of Tecumseh, Karen Walker of Crossville, TN and Alan Knoblauch of Cedarburg, WI; 8 grandchildren, Laura (Matt) Bell of Adrian, Jeremy (Shelle) Smith of Adrian, Jennifer (Kevin) Baur of Tecumseh, Jason (Lindsey) Smith of Portage, Harlan (Kristin) Walker of Crossville, TN, Kyle (Liz) Knoblauch of Mequon, WI, Kevin (Meggan) Knoblauch of Cedarburg, WI and Kelsey (Nate) Hall of Blissfield; 17 great-grandchildren, Morgan and Parker Bell, Sydney, Mason, Logan, Nolan and Owen Smith, Aubrey and Brayden Baur, Isabelle and Daxtyn Smith, Robert and Kendall Walker, Eden and Henry Knoblauch, Kimberly Hall, and Cole Knoblauch. Lee Etta was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Harlan; daughter-in-law, Kim Knoblauch; son-in-law, Robert Walker; and sisters, Lee Esther Hendershot and Gennettie Ault. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 2 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Blissfield with Pastor Ted Kerr officiating. Burial will follow at Riga Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel in Blissfield; and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the start of the service.
