SAND CREEK – Larry G. Keck, 64 of Sand Creek, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Thursday, December 24, 2020, after a brief struggle with leukemia. He was born February 2, 1956, in Adrian, the only son of the late Glenn and Helen (Pickford) Keck, and graduated from Sand Creek High School in 1974. On June 3, 1978, he married Ronda Jewett, and they were blessed with over 42 years together. Larry retired from General Motors after 27 years, working in both Adrian and Toledo. After returning to school both Larry and Ronda earned their Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling, and for several years operated Life Line Counseling. Larry was a faithful member of Jasper Bible Church where he served on the board for 37 years and taught Sunday School for many years. He was also active politically being instrumental in starting the local Tea Party as well as serving as Fairfield Township Supervisor. Larry’s hobbies included farming, fishing, hunting and camping. Most importantly, Larry loved his Lord, his family and his country. In addition to his wife, Ronda, survivors include their children, Kevin (Betty) Keck of Adrian and Kristen (Nathan) Brink of Grant, MI; grandchildren, Alyssa, Benjamin, Brian, Joshua, Caleb, Kaitlyn and Savannah; and his sisters, Roberta (Keith) Ludwig of Tecumseh and Barbara (Richard) Hall of Adrian. Funeral services will take place at 3 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Jasper Bible Church with Rev. Bruce Jewett officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 1 p.m. until the service. Following the Governor’s executive order, all attendees are required to wear a proper face covering, with the exception of those under the age of five years old or those who cannot medically tolerate.
