Elma J. Wilusz

BLISSFIELD – Elma J. Wilusz, age 89 of Blissfield, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Tecumseh Place. She was born July 28, 1929 in Huntington, West Virginia, to Charles and Sarah (Adkins) Beaty, and graduated from Woodward High School in Toledo with the Class of 1947. While still in high school Elma started working at Libbey Glass. She continued her career with Owens-Illinois where she retired in 1984 with over 30 years of service. Elma loved to be active. Playing golf, taking cruises, trips to Las Vegas, and ballroom dancing were favorite pastimes. She always looked forward to her monthly meetings with her Woodward High School classmates. Elma is survived by her children, George (LouAnn) Managhan of Sylvania and Alyce (Jeffrey) Juby of Blissfield, several step children and grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, Howard Managhan, Maxwell Reddish and Edward “Jim” Wilusz, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Charles and Donald Beaty and Hazel Prymicz. At Elma’s request, all services will be private. Contributions in her memory are suggested to the Toledo Area Humane Society.
