Tyler Baldwin Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

BLISSFIELD - Tyler Robert Baldwin, 19, of Blissfield, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011, as the result of injuries sustained in a car accident. Tyler was born July 31, 1991, in Wauseon, Ohio, the son of Sherry Baldwin Shepard and Mark Vandenberg. Tyler attended Jefferson High School in Monroe and graduated from Blissfield High School with the Class of 2010. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, Lions and Redwings. A lover of nature and animals, Tyler enjoyed spending time at the family cabin up north. Tyler also loved to read, especially the Harry Potter series. Tyler has joined his beloved dogs, Cypress and Dixie, and leaves behind his family including his parents, Sherry and Richard Shepard of Blissfield; father, Mark Vandenberg, of Monroe; maternal grandmother, Sharon Parks; paternal grandparents, Fran and Ron Beck, of Petersburg, MI; grandparents, Richard and Donna Shepard, of Jasper; his younger brother, Samuel Shepard, also of Blissfield; and many extended family members. He will be greatly missed by his family and best friend, Ken Geis. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Ellis Baldwin. The funeral service for Tyler will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Wagley Funeral Home, Tagsold Chapel in Blissfield with Rev. Keith Smith officiating.
