Lynn Charles Stutzman

ADRIAN –Lynn Charles Stutzman, age 72, of Adrian, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at home under the care of Hospice of Lenawee, with his wife by his side. He was born in Adrian on November 14, 1948 to Charles and Irma (Setzler) Stutzman. Lynn graduated from Madison High School in 1966; and went on to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1968-1970. On March 9, 1993 Lynn married Paulette and they have shared 28 years together. Lynn was a barber for 52 years and owned the Hairs Inn in Ypsilanti, MI. He also sold life insurance for Gleaner, American Community and Unified Life. Jim Edwards was his best friend to shoot the breeze with after a long day at the barber shop. Lynn was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge and Amvets; and enjoyed grabbing a bite to eat and visiting with friends at the American Legion. Lynn liked bowling, having the nickname “Brooklyn”, playing cards and golfing with family and friends. While vacationing in Florida, one could often find Lynn standing in the Gulf of Mexico neck deep in water. Lynn is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Irma Stutzman. He is survived by his wife, Paulette; children, Tonya (PJ) Verhille, Shawna Stutzman, James Grigonis and Brett (Kimberly) Andrew; grandchildren, Randy (Heather) Stutzman, Christian (Summer) Miller, Clarissa Miller, Elijah Verhille, Lane and Thomas Hurt, Tyler and Dylan Grigonis, Dakota (Isabella), Noah, Dillon and Tobias Andrew; great-grandchildren, Clementine and Alexander Miller, Elizabeth and Katherine Stutzman, with 2 more great-grandchildren coming in May and December; sister, Sandra (Bruce) Morrison; niece, Jennifer West, and many extended family and friends. Thank you to family and friends for their support and to Hospice of Lenawee for their wonderful care. Lynn didn’t like good-byes, it was always “see you later”. In keeping with Lynn’s wishes, there will be no good-byes or services, he will see you later! Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
