ADRIAN- Krista Lynne French, 46 of Adrian, Michigan died Tuesday evening, March 28, 2023 at Toledo Hospital following a lengthy hard fought battle with an unexpected illness, with her loving family by her side. Born on September 22, 1976 in Adrian, MI, Krista was the oldest of three daughters to Robert and Kathy (Knoth) French. She graduated from Adrian High School with the Class of 1994. Krista’s outgoing personality made her a natural for working with the public. She managed the office at Hill’s Towing in Adrian before moving on to work in the health field. Krista worked the switchboard at Bixby Hospital and later was a registration clerk at Promedica Hickman Hospital. Krista enjoyed crafting and showing her artistic side through painting and diamond artwork. She loved to travel and especially liked going to Shipshewana for the weekend. Krista’s faith was important to her and she found great strength in watching Bethany services online each Sunday. She was a die-hard University of Michigan football fan and loved to cheer on the maize and blue. The most important thing in Krista’s life was her family; and she always made time to laugh and create memories with her family. She loved all her nieces and nephews like they were her own children. Krista is survived by her mother, Kathy Knoth Wilzer; father, Robert French; sisters, Melissa French and Kayla Ahearn (JJ Blaker); nieces and nephews, Connor “Porkster” Teachout, Brayden Teachout, Noah Teachout, Hannah Ansted, Hayleigh Ansted, Bryleigh “Anna-Marie” Ahearn, Raelynne Ahearn, Lathan Ahearn, Brecken Ahearn, Ambrielle “Sweet Angel” Ahearn, Emberleigh Ahearn; bonus nephews, Micah and Joel Blaker; Uncle Rick and Aunt Darla Knoth, and Uncle Marc and Aunt Karol Goodwin; cousins, Colin Knoth, Christopher Knoth, Kendra Fleming and Todd Goodwin; and special second cousin, Cooper Knoth; special friends, Patricia and Jeff; and all the wonderful friends and co-workers that Krista has had over the years. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dick and Ann Knoth, and Merlin and Donna French. Following Krista’s wishes, cremation will take place. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Krista’s family to help with expenses.
