David "Dave" Maston Fivecoat

ADRIAN- David “Dave” Maston Fivecoat, 63, of Adrian, Michigan left this world on January 2, 2024 after a long battle with multiple health complications. Dave was born on April 21, 1960 in Adrian, MI to James Lindsey and Mary Helen (Brown) Fivecoat. He graduated from Adrian High School with the Class of 1978. On September 28, 1991, a sunny autumn day, Dave and Karen Ann Snyder were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the Fivecoat family property. Dave kept life exciting for Karen in their 32 years together and they shared much love and laughter while creating lasting memories. Dave worked at Lenawee Stamping in Tecumseh, MI 1988-1992, and as a production supervisor at Hydro Bohn Aluminum in Adrian 1994-2006; he then transferred to work at Hydro Aluminum in Rockledge, Florida where he worked until his medical retirement in 2007. Dave was an avid lover of Hot Rods, Rock and Roll and KISS. He enjoyed his cars fast and his music loud. On any given day you could drive by and hear rock and roll playing from his garage while Dave worked on cars and various projects. More than anything, Dave loved his family. He always worked hard to make sure everyone had not only the things they needed but the things they wanted. In addition to his wife, Karen, Dave is survived by their children, Ashley (Stan) Marshall and James Fivecoat; grandchildren, “Bubbles” Catherine Snyder, “Peanut” Anabelle Akers-Snyder, “Worm” Cullen Marshall, “Boop” Martin Marshall, Anthony Bristol and Isabella Marshall; sister, Diann Downard; nephew, Ryan (Jennifer) Downard; niece, Erin Wilson; great nephew, Hayden Downard; great niece, Lindsey Elizardo; father and mother in-law, David and Michele Snyder; sisters in-law Barb Anderson and Renee (Greg) Pinkelman; nephews, Teagen (Brittney Werner) Pinkelman and Andrew Anderson; nieces, Hannah Pinkelman and Sara Anderson; as well as his “Brown Dog” Lilly. He was proceeded in death by his parents and brother in-law, Michael Downard. Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Wagley Funeral Home, Adrian, with Pastor Chris Peoples officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home and again at 1:00 until the time of the service on Monday.
