Bonnie L. Sorren

ADRIAN – Bonnie L. Sorren age 84 of Adrian, formerly of McMinnville, Tennessee and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Charlotte Stephenson Manor. She was born September 16, 1936, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, the youngest of the three daughters of Joseph Sheffield Graham and Eula Ney (Cather) Graham. She graduated from Ft. Lauderdale High School and attended Wesleyan College in Georgia and University of Miami in Florida. Bonnie married Ronald Ricker in 1958 and they celebrated over 50 years together until his death in 2009. On April 21, 2013, she married Anthony Sorren, and he survives. Bonnie had a variety of interests and worked in many different capacities including being a stewardess, a substitute teacher, a realtor, a rug designer, a tennis coach, the owner/operator of a greenhouse/nursery business as well as a sales associate for Home Depot. She was a former member of the Ft. Lauderdale Yacht Club where she enjoyed playing tennis. She was also an avid flower gardener and a lover of animals. Bonnie’s sense of humor was appreciated by all even in her final days. In addition to her husband, Anthony, she is survived by her children, Ronald (Joanne) Ricker Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia and Laura (Jeff) Tagsold of Manitou Beach, Michigan; son-in-law, Mark Nunnelly of Hoover, Alabama; a sister, Delia Cirino; grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) Nunnelly, Michael (Heather) Nunnelly, Taylor (Chris) Gaines, Natalie Ricker, Wesley (Tricia) Turpen, Abigail Turpen, Taylor (Geoff) Mack and Travis Tagsold; and great grandchildren, Cora, Alice and Graham Nunnelly, Chip Gaines and Jenson Mack. Besides her first husband, Ronald, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte “Lottie” Nunnelly and a sister, Joanne Dick. All services for Bonnie will be private.
